A group of visionaries invested their efforts in the upliftment of society by identifying social and economic disorders and finding ways to ameliorate these problems. Hence, “Society for Service to Voluntary Agencies” (SOSVA) was founded in 1984 by the late Mr. V. Srinivasan, IAS (retd.), MD-SICOM, MAFCO, CIDCO, and former Health Secretary, Government of Maharashtra. Over the past 39 years, SOSVA has relentlessly focused on supporting the NGO sector in the streams of health, education, and other developmental issues, primarily concentrating on the upliftment of underprivileged and marginalised groups.
